How does the Spirit help me?

12/29/10 And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God's own will. Romans 8:27. You know my family's needs Lord and I wait patiently for your will to be done.

How is Jesus my help in troubles? Here on earth you will have many trials. But take heart, because I have overcome the world. John 16:33. I trust you today.

Who is the Christ in Christmas to me?

12/24/10 For a Child is born to us, a Son is given to us, and He will be called: Wonderful, Counselor, Almighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah9:6. You are the innocence of a child, the heritage of a son, the wonder of creation, the counsel of true wisdom, the might of a word, the God of all, the everlasting outside of time, the Father of loving discipline, and the peace that surpasses understanding.

Am I guilty to God? And I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins. Heb. 8:12. The Lord forgives and forgets everytime I ask.

How does God guide me? We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps. Proverbs 16:9. Lord as I make plans I know my steps are in Your hands.

Why does the Lord want me to avoid gossip?

12/8/10 Does anyone want to live a life that is long and prosperous? Then keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies! Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it. Psalm 34:12-14. Lord You work all things for good for those that love You and are called to Your purpose; Your good intention is for me to have a long and prosperous life. When I speak evil gossip it separates, I want to either speak in love or keep silent in confidence. Gossip is lies because it's only my side, love turns from the evil I can say to slam others to the good I can do for them or the silence I can keep to honor You. Peace brings us together; gossip causes wars that separate. You are the Prince of Peace; You give me peace I can't understand; help me to live a life that brings peace to others.

How can I be fruitful for the Lord?

12/6/10 Make every effort to respond to God's promises. Supplement your faith with a generous portion of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with patient endurance, and patient endurance with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love for everyone. The more you grow like this, the more productive and useful you will be in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 1:5-8. Help me to have faith instead of fear; moral excellence instead of a blind eye; Your knowledge instead of worldly wisdom; self-control instead of self-gratification; patient endurance instead of impatient demands; godliness instead of self centeredness; brotherly affection instead of stranger indifference; love for all instead of just for my own. Fruitfulness is productive and useful for You not destructive and harmful to others. Make me fruitful.

How does the Lord ask me to forgive?

12/1/10 Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven. Luke 6:37. Lord as a child of God You don't judge my sins but whether my actions are for You, me or others. Forgive me for judging others words and actions. Lord You don't condemn me but offer me the free gift of eternal life. Forgive me for not sharing the gift of life enough with others but instead ignoring their condemnation of death. Lord You forgive me over and over. Forgive me for limiting my forgiveness of others that You freely give. I judge not wanting judgment; I condemn not wanting condemnation; I am forgiven not wanting to forgive. I am a saint that sins Lord use me to reach sinners to be saved.

How does the Lord provide for me?

11/29/10 He gives food to those who fear Him; He always remembers his covenant. Psalm 111:5. Lord You provide my physical need for food. Lord You are also the Bread of Life to feed my soul through Your word and my time with You. My fear of You Lord doesn't involve terror but trust. Trust that You as my Father will do, be and act as You promise You will. You never fail me. Your promise to be my spiritual Father makes me Your child. This covenant can't be broken because no one can snatch me from Your hand. Lord thank you for providing for me and help me to act like Your child today.

How can I have no fear in the Lord?

11/27/10 I am leaving you with a gift – peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don't be troubled or afraid. John 14:27. Thank you Lord for the gifts You give me as a child of God. Thank you for the peace of mind that all our finances, all of our health trials, and all of our children's lives will work together for good because we love You and You have called us. Thank you for the peace of heart to know that I do not walk through these alone; You are with me through it all. You calm my troubled heart and ease my fearful mind. The world has no peace but in You I have peace that surpasses understanding.

How do I know God is faithful?

11/24/10 Those who know Your name trust in You, for You, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for You. Psalm 9:10. I know your name gives me peace in chaos, strength in adversity, and hope in hopelessness. You don't abandon me when I fail, when I fall short, when I don't measure up to others because none of that matters only my heart searching continually to be closer to You. Thank you for forgiving me when I fail, for picking me up when I fall, for not comparing me to others, and for being found when I search for You.

How has my faith grown in You?

11/22/10 And now just as you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord, you must continue to follow Him. Let your roots grow down deep into Him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. Colossians 2:6-7. Lord I accept you as the Lord of my heart. I follow You as the Light of my path. I grow in You as the Bread of my soul. I am built on you as the Chief Cornerstone of my choices. I am strong in You as the Overcomer of my opposition. I am thankful in You as the Sustainer of my life.

Who can have eternal life from the Lord?

11/20/10My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me. John 10: 27-28. Lord I admit I am a sheep in need of a shepherd. I hear You when You guide me to make right decisions, to avoid making wrong ones, to be patiently still in Your peace, and to pray for change. You know me better than I know myself and love me anyway. You give me eternal life; I can't buy it, earn it, I don't deserve it, I can't repay it. The cost of me never perishing was Your Son dying on the cross for all my sins but because He rose again to live forever I can never be snatched away from You and that is eternal life, life eternal with You.

How can the Lord help me face my enemies?

11/19/10So we can say with confidence," The Lord is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?" Hebrews 13:6. Lord You are the only sure confidence I have against my physical enemies, my spiritual enemies, my financial enemies, and my mental enemies. Lord I need Your help today. I don't know how all this is to work out but You do and You can work it for the good because I love You. I will not fear the pain, I will not fear the attacks of Satan, I will not fear the money we don't have, and I will not fear the anxiety that comes. People bring pain but You bring healing. Satan brings attacks but You bring hope. Unemployment limits our funds but You provide our needs. Anxiety tries to overwhelm but You overcome. You are my all in all.

How can the Lord help me face death?

11/18/10Whom have I in heaven but You? I desire You more than anything on earth. My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; He is mine forever. Psalm 73:25-26. Lord thank You that I have direct access to You as Your child. Forgive me for letting my priorities get out of whack and desiring things more than You. Thank You for the reminder You give that when my health fails it's because this is not my home. Thank You that when my spirit grows weak Your strength is made perfect through me. You were the same in the yesterday that I chose to love You, You are the same in the today that I choose to honor You with my life and You will be the same in the forever I will spend with You in eternity. You are mine and I am Yours.

How can God give me courage?

11/17/10"This is my command – be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9. Lord You are not asking but commanding me to be strong in You even though I am weak. You are commanding me to be courageous even though I have doubts. You are commanding me to not be afraid because fear doesn't come from You. You are commanding me to not be discouraged because greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. You promising to be with me wherever I go gives me the courage to go into today. Thank You.

Why do I receive God’s correction?

11/15/10For the Lord corrects those He loves, just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights. Proverbs 3:12. Lord I receive Your correction and know that my way is imperfect but You are the Way, the Truth and the Light. I don't enjoy the correction but help me to learn quickly what You are trying to teach me; I am willing to learn and change. I pray my children know how much I do delight in them and that I correct them for no other reason but for them to know You, live a life pleasing to You and be an impact for You to those around them.

Wednesday, November 10, 2010

How can the Lord provide me contentment?

11/10/10Don't love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, "I will never fail you, I will never abandon you." Hebrews 13:5. Lord forgive me for losing focus in the past and not honoring You with my tithe but loving the things money could buy me more. I am satisfied with whatever I have and give back to You with a willing heart. You never fail; You never abandon; You are absolute when nothing in this world is. I am content with what I have because of who I am in You.

Monday, November 8, 2010

How is the Lord my comfort?

11/8/10The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust Him. Nahum 1:7. Lord You comfort me by being the constant good in, my life even when I and the circumstances around me are not so good. You shield me from the rain of doubt, the winds of rebuke, the cold shoulders, and the blazing heat of unkind words. You are close when no one else is. I trust You with all my heart, soul and strength.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM - What do You, Lord, see as a child’s duties?

11/4/10My child if your heart is wise, my own heart will rejoice! Everything in me will celebrate when you speak what is right. Proverbs 23:15-16. Lord I am so grateful for where my children are right now; for the wisdom each of them has gained so far from their life experiences in You. I celebrate Sean doing right and sharing his bible with an atheist at boot camp, Josh doing right and taking steps for his future now that he is a senior, Trinity doing right and turning herself around not only making honor roll but making wise life changes, and for Cindy's heart being right enough to stand before others and worship and do a bible study with her boyfriend who loves the Lord. I celebrate and rejoice that these You have given me to train are beginning to stand and walk towards You.

Why do I have my children?

11/3/10Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from Him. Psalm 127:3. Lord forgive me because so often I fail to see what a blessing to my life my children are and I don't value enough the few years You have given me to love them in my home. They are a reward I couldn't earn and couldn't imagine being without. I pray they know today how much they have blessed me and how I pray they are a blessing to others.

Monday, November 1, 2010

How do You see charity?

11/1/10Give freely and become more wealthy; be stingy and lose everything. The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed. Proverbs 11:24-25. I pray blessings on all those that have given freely, generously and refreshed us abundantly during this time of testing in our family. You have put it upon so many friends' hearts to bless us and I pray they become wealthier, prosper incredibly, and be refreshed themselves. All I can say is thank You Lord I am so grateful.

Why do I keep believing?

10/27/10I tell you the truth, anyone who believes has eternal life. John 5:47. Lord thank You that every word that came from Your mouth while You were here was truth then and is truth now and will be truth until the end of time. You accept anyone, in spite of where they have been, in spite what they have done, in spite of who they are, in spite of when they fail or succeeded, in spite of why it took them so long to accept or if they were raised with You their whole life, in spite of how they heard; all I have to do is believe and my eternal life begins right here right now. Every moment of every day is prep for my eternal life with You and I am not walking through this life alone anymore because I believe.

How do I deal with anger?

10/25/10 A man's wisdom gives him patience; it is his glory to overlook an offense. Proverbs 19:11. Lord my true wisdom comes from following Your words and Your example. Only then can I have patience in the midst of chaos. All glory and honor is Yours in any and every situation. Give me what I need today to overlook offenses and know that you are in control of all things. I give You my anger fill me with Your love.

How can I get out of the darkness feeding on my own self-absorption?

10/20/10 Feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then Your light will shine out of the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon. Isaiah 58:10. I am trying to maximize my leisure instead of my service, trying to escape pressure instead of lean on God through it. I am self- absorbed not self- sacrificing; I am too oblivious not understanding enough; I am uncaring toward pain and suffering worse than my own not compassionate enough to try to ease the pain or stop and listen to the suffering. WHEN THE DARKNESS WILL NOT LIFT – JOHN PIPER Help me Lord find opportunities to serve those You have given me; taking my eyes off my darkness and focus on bringing and sharing light to and with others.

What is the personality of God?

10/13/10 Though I am surrounded by troubles, You will protect me from the anger of my enemies. You reach out Your hand, and the power of Your right hand saves me. Psalm 138:7. Your personality Lord is to protect me from more than I can bear, to reach out to me when I am sinking into despair, and to save me when no one else cares. The troubles from my enemies are on the outskirts of my life but You are my solid rock I stand upon.

How can I obtain God’s promises?

10/12/10 Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep His promise. So we do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God's will. Then you will receive all that He has promised. Hebrews 10:23,35-36. Lord help me to hold tightly now to You, You are the only hope I have that never fails. You have kept all Your promises since the beginning. Forgive me Lord when I throw away my confident trust for my own selfish way. Heaven is my reward not ease here. As I patiently endure to do Your will, thank you for giving me daily in Your word what I need to cling to Your promises now and rest assured of them for eternity. honeydosbyjimmyhead

How can I recover spiritually?

10/8/10 O Lord You are so good ready to forgive; so full of unfailing love for all who ask for Your help. Listen closely to my prayer, O Lord; hear my urgent cry. I will call to You whenever I am in trouble, and You will answer me. Psalm 86:5-7. Lord I can recover when I ask for Your help; when I call out to You in urgent prayer, day or night, whether I am right with You or whether I have failed You. You hear and answer, in a way that is good for me not always the way I want. You forgive me and forget my sin, help me to forgive others to aid my own recovery. Lord Your love is unfailing and even though my love fails, help me not give up trying to love through You.

How can I draw near to God?

10/7/10But in my distress I cried out to the Lord; yes, I prayed to my God for help. He heard me from His sanctuary; my cry to Him reached His ears. Psalm 18:6. Lord I cry out my prayers to You with my heart, mind and soul. Lord You know I need Your help; Lord I can't do this on my own. The only way to draw near to You is to admit I need to; I need Your sanctuary, I need You to hear. Lord right now I breathe deeply and release this to You knowing You hold all in Your hands.

How can I commit my life to Christ?

10/ For it is by believing in your heart you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth you are saved. Romans 10:10. ADMIT – I admit God is my Creator, Sustainer, Savior. BELIEVE – I believe in my heart I am His creation, He holds me in His hand and saved me from my sins. CONFESS – I confess with my mouth that all I was, all I am, and all I will be is only by the grace of God. I commit this day to You.

How can I give Satan his due, but no more?

10/5/10Satan can do nothing without Your permission, Lord. Job1:12. Satan can harass and kill but not destroy me because You have the victory over death. Hebrews 2:14. Satan can oppress, darken and deceive but can't abide the truth of Your word. 2 Timothy 2:24-26. WHEN THE DARKNESS WILL NOT LIFT-JOHN PIPER. Thank You Lord that I know that You are in control of everything going on with me. Thank You that no matter what I have the hope of heaven. Thank You that no matter how dark it is right now Your word always gives me comfort.

What can I say a child of God being persuaded he is not?

10/4/10 Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God knows me completely. 1Corinthians13:12. Our dark certainties are not sureties. WHEN THE DARKNESS WILL NOT LIFT – JOHN PIPER. The world gives me an imperfect vision of who I am. The world reflects back at me only my imperfections. But through the eyes of Christ I can begin to see myself clearly for who I am, a child of God. My dark certainties are what is outside of God's best for me and incomplete because they lack hope. I am beginning and continuing to learn how the sureties I can completely know are the promises of who I am in You. You completely know who I am and love me anyway; shield me from the dark certainties of my mind and fill me with the surety of who I am in You.

What is the ground of my assurance when I can’t see my faith?

10/1/10 The wind blows wherever it wants. Just as you can hear the wind but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can't explain how people are born in the Spirit. John 3:8. My faith rises and falls, it has degrees. But my security does not rise and fall, it has no degrees. The darkest experience for a child of God is when his faith sinks out of his own sight. Not out of God's sight, but his. Yes it is possible to be so overwhelmed with darkness that you don't know if you are a Christian-and yet still be one. God is the bottom of my faith; and when it disappears for a season from my own view, God sustains and protects the root of my faith from destruction.

Thank You Lord for being my security when my faith has been shaky. Forgive me for judging those who are your children but are struggling in their faith. Help me be light to their darkness not a destroyer of their faith.

How long, O Lord, how long?

9/30/10 You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in Your bottle. You have recorded each one in Your book. Psalm 56:8. God blesses those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Matthew5:4. - It is a beautiful thing when a broken man cries out to God. Then after the cry, you wait.- I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and He turned to me and heard my cry. Psalm 40:1. WHEN THE DARKNESS WILL NOT LIFT – JOHN PIPER This has been a difficult year Lord with my marriage in the beginning of the year struggling then growing, with Trinity falsely accused of assault in teen court but charges for that dropped, with Jimmy losing his job but starting his own business looking for full time work, with my brother and I losing our close relationship over choices we had to make for the benefit of our own families, with Josh ticketed for breaking curfew and awaiting trial, with me losing my job but blessed to be a help meet to Jimmy right now, with Sean leaving for Naval boot camp but graduating mid October, with Cindy leaving for the Philippines and to go to school in Victorville to make a positive life change. All year I have cried out to You and You have heard and I have waited and You have answered. You are so faithful.

What is the great work of Christ outside of us?

9/29/10 Justification is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, to the glory of God alone. Romans3:28,4:4-5. WHEN THE DARKNESS WILL NOT LIFT – JOHN PIPER . Lord in Your grace You extend Your loving hand towards me. Lord in faith I accept all You have done for me. Lord only You and Your perfect sacrifice justifies me. Lord help me to give glory to You in all I think, say and do today. http;//

How do I give to God’s work?

9/28/10Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will be also. Matthew 6:21. A treasure of my heart I give time to is sitting here in the morning hours, in the word, in prayer, watching the birds fly about, the tree sway in the breeze, the sun shine against the pale blue sky. A treasure of my heart I give love, honor, and cherishing to is falling asleep next to my husband for the last 19 years. A treasure of my heart I give prayer to is my son Sean saying he is reading the word. A treasure of my heart I give my tithe to is so that my son Josh can step away from friends at camp and step forward in worship. A treasure of my heart that shares so many of my talents is my daughter Trinity desiring to make a change in her life and stepping out to go where You call her to. A treasure of my heart that supports the spreading of the gospel is my daughter Cindy returning from the Philippines where she saw God's hand work in the lives of those with far less than us. Help me to recognize and be thankful for all the treasure You have given me instead of striving for the temporal treasure of this world.

How do I wait on God?

9/24/10 Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for Him to act. Don't worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes. Stop being angry! Turn from your rage! Do not lose your temper-it only leads to harm. For the wicked will be destroyed, but those who trust in the Lord will possess the land. Psalm 37:7-9. Lord I fail to be still. I scurry about trying to fix it in my own way and then I bring the broken pieces to You to ask You to fix it instead of waiting. When I bring to mind the wicked schemes by the evil people against me I do have anger, rage and I lose my temper. Forgive me Lord when I harm others with my words that burden their souls. I trusted You the day these schemes took place, I trust You today as I feel the effects of these schemes, and I will trust you in the future when I see how You turned these schemes for the good because I love You.

How can I understand the leading of the Lord?

9/23/10The Lord will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring. Isaiah58:11. Thank You Lord for the pictures Your word gives me to help me understand who You are and how You lead. You are the lamp to my feet and the light to my path to lead me. You are the living water to lead me out of the dry spots in my life. You lead me to do all things through Your strength, not my own. You are the vine and I am the branch in Your well-watered garden through Your word and prayer. You are an ever-flowing spring that through all things gives me life abundantly.

How can I handle condemnation?

9/22/10So there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. Romans8:1. Thank You Lord there is no condemnation for me now that I am in You. I know that doesn't mean I won't be excluded, hated, mocked, or cursed because the world condemned You I know I too will at times be condemned. But when I am persecuted and rejected for who I am in You, I have peace knowing there is no condemnation the world can give that will ever separate You from me. Thank You Lord.

PLEASE PRAY for Cindy’s second half of the mission team returning tonight. For safety and joy for my parents and Cindy remaining in the Philippines another week-How can I be an effective witness?

9/21/10 The seeds of good deeds become a tree of life; and those who wins souls is wise. Proverbs 11:30. Lord give me opportunities to be an effective witness by giving good deeds, give me wisdom to see and act on them when You do. I pray I bring life to all I come in contact with today. My primary purpose here is to give You glory and share that glory with souls in need of You. Lord I desire to be the good seed-sower, the life giver, the wise winner of souls.

PLEASE PRAY for Cindy’s remaining mission team in the Philippines at the pastors’ conference to have God’s guidance and wisdom – How can I have an effective prayer life?

9/20/10If two or three of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you. Matthew 18:19. Lord I come before You trusting and believing Your word that You will answer prayer. I ask all who read this to join in prayer for my friend suffering. I pray for strength, peace and hope that can only be found in You. I pray that through this You become real in their life and that You could bring healing and renewed life. The pain their eyes as they spoke to me broke my heart and I just ask for You to continue to chase after this one You love.

PLEASE PRAY for Cindy to have life changes on the second half of her mission trip and safety for the mission team returning home- How can I have true service?

9/17/10If any of you want to be my follower, you must turn from selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow Me. If you try to hang on to your life you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake and for the sake of the Good News, you will save it. Mark8:34-35. I want to have true service as a follower of Christ by turning from self pleasing and turning to pleasing Christ. Lord help me to take up my cross in what only You give me to bear not on all things I put upon myself to do. Lord I hold my life with an open hand. I know my days are numbered and you know their end. I desire to give up my life for You because without You everything is meaningless, but in a life of service for You I am saved and have purpose.

PLEASE PRAY for those on Cindy’s mission team preparing to return and the last evening crusade in Langkaan – How do I find contentment?

9/16/10"So don't worry about these things, saying 'What will eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?'These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything You need. So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today." Matthew6:31-34. I can find contentment that lasts a lifetime by not worrying about having my needs met. I am seeking to follow You Lord with all my heart, soul, and strength. I want the words of my mouth and thoughts of my heart to reflect a life that outlives me. Help me to stay focused on the tasks before me today and trust You for the rest.

PLEASE PRAY for Cindy’s mission team in the Philippines as open market evangelize and for salvation and healing at the evening crusade in Molino – How can I have God’s divine protection?

9/15/10The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the Lord. Proverbs 21:31. Lord I desire Your divine protection for me, for my husband, for my children. I prepare for the battles that lie ahead by being in Your word, in prayer, in fellowship. I prepare by laying up my treasure in heaven through using my time, tithe, and talent for You. Protect me from allowing my thoughts, words and actions to stray from Your purpose for me. Protect husband Jimmy's health and give him strength as he does his intrinsic work today. Protect my son Sean, who received his first Navy paycheck today, as he is at boot camp. Protect my son Joshua, who takes the ASVAP test for the military today, as he decides on a career field in the military. Protect my daughter Trinity, who is trying to make a life change, to stay strong in that. Protect Cindy, who has opened her heart and mind to serve You, to have and see life changing miracles. We all already have victory in You, Lord.

Tuesday, September 14, 2010

PLEASE PRAY Cindy’s mission team in the Philippines to show God’s love for each student at the schools they visit this morning, for salvation and healing at the evening crusade in Bacoor, Cavite – How can I face old age?

9/14/10For we don't live for ourselves or die for ourselves. If we live, it's to honor the Lord. And if we die, it's to honor the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. Romans14:7-8. As I face old age Lord I want to live out my days for You. Lord I want my life to be looked back on when I pass as a life lived for You. Lord I didn't honor You with my youth. But you took who I was and made me who I am now. You have allowed me 20 more years from the darkest point in my life. As I am almost a month shy of my 38th birthday, I pray that whatever age I am finds me closer to You and my life spent honoring You outlives my death. Thank You Lord for today.

Monday, September 13, 2010

PLEASE PRAY for Cindy’s mission team at a pastor’s conference today and God’s wisdom and guidance for healing and salvation at the evening crusade in Bugnan –How can I be established in trust?

9/13/10 And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose. Romans8:28. I know because time and again God has shown Himself faithful and I can trust Him. He has patiently showed me how all things, really ALL things, work together for good; maybe not how, when or why I wanted. But I keep loving Him and He continues to achieve His purpose in me. In God I trust.

Friday, September 10, 2010

PLEASE PRAY for God to guide Cindy’s mission team open market evangelizing by day and crusade in Camachile tonight – How do I enter into God’s rest?

9/10/11 Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust Him, and He will help you. He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn, and the justice for your cause will shine like the noonday sun. Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for Him to act. Don't worry about evil people that prosper or fret about their wicked schemes. Psalm 37:5-7. I can rest when I commit everything I am doing to You Lord. I can rest when I am still enough to hear You speak to my heart, to see Your beauty in nature, to smell the change of the seasons in the air, to taste the food You provided for our family, and to touch my loved ones here with me. I can rest when I wait patiently for You to act; when I hold it all with a open hand and know that I have no control over others thoughts, words or actions. I can rest when I don't worry about why others seem to get away with so much and the trials surrounding my family seem to overwhelm, You see, You know, and You will act in Your good time. Thank You Lord.

Thursday, September 9, 2010

PLEASE PRAY for Cindy’s Philippine mission team to boldly witness as God guides their door to door evangelizing today; for salvation and healing at the evening crusade in Bantog. – How can I maintain hope?

9/9/10 The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each morning. Lamentations 3:22-23. Even though the love the world has shown me ends, Your love never does. Even though the words and actions of my enemies seem to be relentless, Your mercy for me never ceases. Even though things may seem great and stable in the world's eyes, Your faithfulness to me is the greatest. Even though one thing after another as the day wears on tries to chip away at who I am in You, I am a child of God; Your mercy for me is new this morning. I admit I failed yesterday, I believe You have what I need today, I confess You are the hope I need for tomorrow.

Wednesday, September 8, 2010

9/8/10Then Jesus said," Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. "Matthew 11:28. I can overcome despair Lord because You take the time each day to speak to me and I am so blessed. I forget any despair I might have had as I come into Your presence each morning and dig into Your word. I become weary of the onslaught of trial after trials. I carry the heavy burdens of what I could have, should have, and would have done. Only in You Lord do I have the rest of knowing all works for the good of those who love You and You have called to Your purpose.

Tuesday, September 7, 2010

9/7/10Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. Isaiah 41:10. I can stress Lord because I fear the unknown. I can stress Lord because I am discouraged because I don't understand how this will all work out. Yet You tell me You are the I AM…the I am that is with me, the I am that is my God. You strengthen me when I am weak. You help me when I am hurt. You hold me up when I feel like I am drowning in despair. Lord I can handle stress by giving it over to You because the victory over it is Yours. I am not alone.

How can I survive financial problems?

9/3/10How can I survive financial problems? Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned to be content with whatever I have. I know how to live on almost nothing or to have everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. Philippians 4:11-13. Even though I may have felt I was in need, I have always had enough. I have learned to be content because I have learned that things come and go but my Lord never leaves or forsakes me and is what I have no matter what. Lord You know that my heart is to right by You. I don't have the strength to make it through this day without You. As financial problems overshadow, protect my marriage from bitterness, protect my kids from worry, and provide the way for us to have just enough to satisfy our needs to not deny You in riches or steal in poverty. (Proverbs 30:8)

How can I handle suffering?

9/2/10How can I handle suffering? So then, since Christ suffered physical pain, you must arm yourselves with the same attitude He had, and be ready to suffer, too. For if you have suffered physically with Christ, you have finished with sin. You won't spend the rest of your lives chasing your own desires, but you will be anxious to do His will. 1 Peter4:1-2. Lord I don't think You ask us to approach the day looking for how we might suffer but inevitably suffering finds us and You ask us to be ready. Be in the word to know what You want to say to comfort. Be in prayer to ask in Your name for the things I need and want. Be using my time to do Your will. Be tithing to Your ministry. Be using my talent to share You. I am so anxious to do Your will today, help me not fall back into sin or frantically chase what's for me. Help me walk alongside You since You know where I am going.

Wednesday, September 1, 2010

In the begining God.
God says come to Me and I will give you rest.
Jesus Christ is the Prince pf peace. Jesus is our hope.

How can I face serious illness?

9/1/10How can I face serious illness? He personally carried our sins in His body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By His wounds you are healed. 1 Peter 2:24. I don't understand the purpose for serious illness except that somehow through it You give us the ability to live right in the sight of others which gives glory to You. This doesn't make it any less painful, less exhausting, or less depressing. You suffered pain as You were beaten, scourged, and crowned with thorns. You were exhausted as you carried Your cross to Your crucifixion. You faced oppression and didn't become depressed but said, "Father forgive they don't know what they are doing." Thank You that serious illness here doesn't change my eternal healing of salvation because You have healed my most serious illness of sin Thank You.

How can I handle spiritual trials?

8/31/10How can I handle spiritual trials? The Lord hears His people when they call to Him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; He rescues those whose spirits are crushed. The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time. Psalm34:17-19. Lord I handle my spiritual trials by asking You for help. You are the only One that can rescue me each and every time. You don't take away my broken heart but You are close to me through it to help me learn what I must from it. You do save me when my spirit is crushed and I can't withstand any more; You remove the weight from my shoulders that was never mine to bear. You are so faithful because I see Your hand rescuing each and every time from danger, poverty, death, divorce, and depression and so many more. Help me to comfort those in trouble, be there for those in need, and pass on the hope I have in You.

How can I have the joy of the Lord?

8/30/10How can I have the joy of the Lord? The master was full of praise," Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give You many more responsibilities. Let's celebrate together!"Matthew 25:21. Lord I can hear You speak to me, "Well done good and faithful servants, Jimmy and Chastity. You have been faithful in handling these small jobs so far, and I am preparing to give You more responsibilities." I celebrate in the great and exciting things the Lord has in store for our family. I pray we can live Your love and speak Your words to those around us.

How can I praise the Lord?

8/27/10How can I praise the Lord? Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise You! I will praise You as long as I live, lifting up my hands to You in prayer. You satisfy me more than the richest feast. I will praise You with songs of joy. Psalm 63:3-5. I can praise You because Your love is there for me when I have failed everyone and myself. I can praise You for the life I have that You thought was so precious You died for. I can praise You in my prayers because You are always there when I feel no one cares or understands. I can praise You because You have taken me through having much and having little and have always met my needs and even my wants. I can praise You with my songs that worship You as the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. I can praise You because that what I was created to do and nothing in life brings me more joy.

How can I have liberty in Christ?

8/26/10How can I have liberty in Christ? There is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to Him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death. Romans 8:1-2. Lord I am so grateful that there is no condemnation in You because there is so much in the world. I belong to You, You are my Daddy, You are the lover of my soul. Free me, Lord, with Your life-giving Spirit. Free me to have joy in my heart despite desperate circumstances. Free me to replace my thoughts of all worry and all fear with complete faith in the hope of heaven. Free me as a wife to have my words be few and my ability to listen strong. Free me to serve in WHAT I CAN DO TO PLEASE YOU not WHAT I MUST DO PLEASE OTHERS. Desperate circumstances have mercy new every morning. Worry won't add a single moment to my life and fear is not of the Lord. I want to be a worthy wife to crown Jimmy and not a disgraceful wife that's like a cancer. Lord, You didn't come to be served but to serve and give Your life; I want to follow You.

Wednesday, August 25, 2010

8/25/10 PLEASE PRAY FOR JIMMY AND I - OUR FIRST DAY WITHOUT CONSISTENT INCOME SINCE OUT CHILDREN WERE TODDLERS: How can I be Christ centered? And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father. Colossians 3:17. Lord as we assemble resumes, complete applications, and present ourselves for work opportunities; Jimmy and I want to represent You in all we do. We give You thanks for where You have us right now because it only by the grace of God that we can give you thanks for all You have done, are doing, and will do. You, Lord, gave me what I had and You have taken it away. Praise the name of the Lord. Job 1:21.

8/24/10 PLEASE PRAY FOR PEACE THAT SURPASSES UNDERSTANDING - I AM MEETING IN HR @ 8AM ON WHETHER OR NOT I WILL HAVE JOB – Lord how can I control my tongue? Get rid of all bitterness, rage, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you. Ephesians 4:31-32. I can control my tongue by not allowing bitter thoughts to grow rage in my heart producing harsh words that slander others and cause me to have evil behavior. Thank you for the kindness within me, help me to remain tenderhearted, so I can forgive anyone anything because I have been forgiven so much. Lord You held Your tongue when You stood before authority and You asked they be forgiven. Lord give me courage to stand today knowing I am forgiven and help me to see those I speak to through Your eyes.

8/23/10 PLEASE PRAY FOR MY JOB THAT MIGHT BE TERMINATED THIS WEEK LEADING TO NEW PATHS FOR OUR FAMILY – How can I overcome pride? Greed causes fighting, trusting the Lord leads to prosperity. Those who trust their own insight are foolish, but anyone who walks in wisdom is safe. Proverbs 28:25-26. Lord I trust You to lead our family to prosperity, not monetary, but everlasting prosperity of a life lived with a hope of heaven. My family knows and loves You; You have always met our financial needs. Today I search for Your wisdom as I don't know what this week holds but You do and I believe with all my being that all things work together for the good for those that love You and are called for Your purpose. Help me overcome pride by trusting Your wisdom.

How do I deal with lust?

8/20/10 How do I deal with lust? The temptation in your life is no different than what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, He will show you a way out so you can endure. 1Corinthians10:13. Thank you for reminding me that I am not alone. You have always been faithful to see me through all things. Even though at times I feel like I am at my breaking point, I can remember all I do have and it helps me to stand. Lord I am battling wrong thoughts that will lead to wrong words and be manifested in wrong actions. I can only endure knowing that You hold all this in Your hand and nothing has come upon me that hasn't been sifted through Your fingers and I know that I know that I know You have a plan and a purpose for it.

How can I overcome worldliness?

8/19/10. How can I overcome worldliness? For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father but from the world. 1 John 1:16. Help me Lord overcome worldliness by craving the spiritual pleasure of a relationship with You above all else, by craving for everything I can't see, my confident hope in heaven, and by humbly coming before You knowing that all I have achieved is through Your strength and all I have is by Your gracious provision, apart from You I can do nothing but I can do all through You who gives me strength. Fathers give love & mothers reflect love. The father relationship effects all relationships. Hurting people hurt people. Lord fill the hole in my soul with you.

How can I recognize evil?

18Aug10How can I recognize evil? A good tree produces good fruit; a bad tree produces bad fruit. Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions. Matthew 7:17, 20. Lord people see me by my actions before they hear my words that stem from the thoughts I have that begin with the seeds I choose to sow within my soul. When I sow in a seed of love, I think how can I love, I speak words in love and I act in love. When I sow in a seed of bitterness, I think of all done to me to make me bitter, I speak bitterly toward others and act in bitterness. Lord, those around me identify me by my actions; forgive me for when those actions are bad fruit. I desire to live good fruit, give good fruit, to produce good fruit. Help me recognize the evil around me and not shun in disdain or fear but embrace in love because you loved the unlovable and You do not give us a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind in You.

How can I overcome Satan?

17Aug10How can I overcome Satan? So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Come close to God and He will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world. James 4:7-8. I can overcome Satan when I humble me; my pride says I can do all in my own strength, which is why Satan fell. I can overcome Satan when I resist him in the name of Jesus; he flees because the only way to resist him is in the power of Christ's blood. I can overcome Satan by coming close to You, my God, because Your light dispels his darkness in me. I can overcome Satan when I wash my hands of the sins of who I was as a sinner saved by grace and who I am now clean as a child of God. I can overcome Satan when I purify my heart, look honestly at myself, embrace what is of You God and disregard what is of the world. Lord help me humbly resist Satan by coming close to You with clean hands and a pure heart.

How can I overcome a worldly mind?

16Aug10.How can I overcome a worldly mind? Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into new a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:2. Lord thank you for providing me a way to be in the world but not of the world through You. Give me wisdom and strength to change the way I think. Lord, You change my thoughts when I saturate myself in Your word, in prayer and in fellowship. Continue to teach me Your will for me in my life which is good for me, pleasing to You, and perfect to meet the needs of those around me.

How can I build my faith?

13Aug10How can I build my faith? Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. Hebrews11:1. I can build my faith by being confident in You, my Lord. I can build my faith by having hope in You, my Lord. But time walking with You has given me the confident hope that all You have said yesterday, are saying to me today, and will say to me tomorrow will actually happen. I can't see eternity with You but it will happen. I can't see my salvation but I am. I can't see Your hand leading and guiding my family through good times and bad but You are. I am assured of these through time in Your word, in prayer, and in fellowship with others that are so in love with You. May my assurance in You be contagious today.

How can I abide in Christ?

12Aug10How can I abide in Christ? Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in Me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from Me you can do nothing. John 15:5. You Lord are my vine the life source for who I am. I am the branch that extends from You to reach those You have called for me to. I remain in You by making You the focus of my time, my tithe and my talent. By You being the focus You help me best use my time, You increase the blessing of my tithe, and You bless me by allowing me to use my talent. My fruit is time spent with You, tithe given to You, talent used for You. When I lose focus and am apart from You, my time is stressed, my tithe is lost, my talent is wasted. As I am in You today, use me how You see best.

What is the Holy Spirit to me?

8/11/10What is the Holy Spirit to me? But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere- in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Acts1:8. Lord I receive Your Holy Spirit. He not only has come upon me but I know He moves through me each day, guiding my thoughts, words, and actions. I desire to be Your witness, not my own. I want to tell people about You not only through my words but my actions also. Help me be a witness in Jerusalem to me my home, in Judea to me my friends and family, in Samaria to me those that are difficult to love, and to the ends of the earth for me those that I reach but may never know through those I do know and through me the Holy Spirit speaks to. Thank you for Your Spirit that is my strength.

How can I know the power of God’s word?

8/10/10How can I know the power of God's word? For the Word of the Lord is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. Hebrews 4:12. I know the Word of the Lord is alive because as I read it each time the same words can say different things to me at different times in my life. I know the Word of the Lord is powerful because in a time of fear I can say His name and have peace to sleep, in anger I can speak His Word and find thankfulness, in sorrow I can sing His word and have joy anew. It divides between where my soul is going and how my spirit within me is living through me. As I pull apart Your word each day, I learn more and more about what I truly think and what I should truly desire. Align me with You.

Monday, August 9, 2010

What is the blood of Jesus to me?

8/9/10What is the blood of Jesus to me? For by the power of the eternal Spirit, Christ offered Himself to God as a perfect sacrifice for our sins. Hebrews9:14.The blood of Jesus for me is the picture of the Trinity - the sacrifice God needed to forgive us, the sacrifice Christ made to open heaven to us, the sacrifice that made the Spirit available for us. Forgive me when I feel put out by the sacrifices I have to make. I have eternal power to do all I need to today. I offer my day to You as the only sacrifice that's mine to give. Help me to forgive others the sins You have already forgiven them. Your blood Lord is undeserved forgiveness, help me to live that.

How can I know the sufficiency of the Lord?

8/6/10How can I know the sufficiency of Jesus? So I can say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper, so I have no fear. What can mere man do to me?" Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews13:6, 8. I am sure that You Lord are my help when I feel alone. My faith is enough to remove my fear. No one can change that I am a child of God. You are the same God that changed my life 19 years ago, the same God that's mercy is new this and every morning, and the same God that I will spend eternity with. Thank You that even though I have thoughts that make me feel bad, You are what I need to think on to feel my way into happiness once more.

How can I know I am born again?

8/5/10How can I know that I am born again? For it is by believing in your heart you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. Romans10:10. Lord I believe in my heart that You are the Christ the Son of God. This makes me right with You dead to who I was without You born again in who I am with You. Help me use every opportunity to confess who You are and what You have done for me. The thieves on the crosses crucified beside You; one denied, ridiculed, and died eternally, one believed, confessed, and lived eternally with You. He was born again then. Help me to live born again for as long as I am.

Jesus will see me through when I put my trust in Him. God loves sinners. I admit I have sinned. I believe in Jesus. I confess I need a Savior for eternity.
I will trust in Jesus and nobody else. My help comes from the Lord. Freedom in Jesus has no strings attached. Creation is not an accident, we have a creator.

What’s God’s plan of salvation?

8/3/10What's God's plan of salvation? For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans6:23. Lord what is given in return for my offenses and faults is death eternally. Yet in Your grace You give the free gift of eternal life to me when I admit You are my God, believe You sent Your Son to die for my sins and be risen from the dead to conquer death, and confess I need Your Son to save me. Lord I still fail and others still fail me. Lord I accept Your grace to start over and help me show that grace to others even if they don't deserve it.

What can I do to please God?

8/2/10What can I do to please God? You are a chosen people. You are a royal priests, a holy nation, God's very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for He called you out of His darkness into His wonderful light. 1Peter2:9. You foreknew and predestined me before the foundation of the world yet You have given me free will to choose You and You have chosen me. It is a mystery that I, in my small mind, can't understand because who can fully understand the awesomeness God? I am a royal priest as Your child to spread Your word to all. You have called me to choose this day as for me and my house to be a holy nation one home at a time. I am Your possession that You bought with the price of the sacrifice of Your Son. Lord Your goodness is not sitting with me in the darkness of my circumstance but to call me out into the light of a life lived for You.

lion against my authorities is rebellion against You. Http://
officials, my boss, my husband, and beginning with my parents. Witchcraft is teaming up with Satan against You God. Forgive me for not seeing that rebel
What does the bible say about witchcraft? For rebellion is as bad as the sin of witchcraft. 1Samuel 15:23. Forgive me for my rebellion against government

7/30/10 JIMMY'S INTERVIEW WENT GREAT - PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR GOD'S WILL- What can I do to help my business? This is what the Lord says-your Redeemer the Holy One of Israel: "I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is good for you and leads you along the paths you should follow." Isaiah 48:17. I can help my business by turning to what You say and not what the world says. You redeemed me for a specific plan and purpose that's why I am where I am right now. You are my God and I live to serve You, not money, things or myself. Help me to continue to learn what is good for me from Your word and live it in my life. As I follow where You lead, I repeat what You tell me, redeem the time You give me, learn and teach what You show me, to lead others on the path they should follow. This is my business, Lord, thank You.

7/29/10PLEASE PRAY FOR JIMMY'S INTERVIEW WITH ALTA ONE AT 1:30PM - FOR GOD'S WILL - What can I do to change my world? And then He said to them," Go into all the world and preach the good news to everyone." Mark 16:15. Your direction for me is not to sit content waiting for the salvation ship to take me on to eternity. You instruct me to go, go step out of my comfort zone, go explain my faith, go walk in love, go minister where You give me opportunity. Go means to leave the TV, the friends, the family, the shopping, the self centeredness and go find God's purpose for me. All the world is around me not just on the other side of the planet. Help me preach with my thoughts focused on Your will, my words filled with You love, and my actions filled with Your touch. The good news of Your Son is the salvation of everyone: Jesus is God and was born a man, Jesus died as a man and rose again as God, and Jesus is God and is saving everyone who believes today. Thank You God.

What can I do to grow spiritually?

7/28/10 What can I do to grow spiritually? Rather you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. All glory to Him, both now and forever! Amen. 2 Peter3:18. Lord I have just begun to truly understand that I am growing in Your grace as I am growing in knowledge of You. You are not just my Lord, the creator of the universe and the smallest cells we can see but You are also my Savior who, not because of who I am but in spite of who I am, chose to die on a cross and rise again for me to share eternity with You. How much more do I need to grow and show Your grace to all those around me that they might see You in me a hope of eternity with You? I give You glory now because You have seen me through the darkest and brightest times in my life so far and my joy comes from knowing You are in my forevermore.

What is the truth from the bible for me about the elderly?

7/27/10What is the truth from the bible for me about the elderly? I will be your God throughout your lifetime- until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I carry you along and save you. Isaiah 46:4. Lord because You are my God throughout my lifetime I have hope of eternity with You. Lord help me to embrace each passing day and not scorn the continued age it brings but be reminded how You made me for a purpose, did I achieve it?-how You care for me, did I care for others? - how you carry me along, did I allow You to carry me or am I kicking and screaming against Your will for me?- how You save me, am I sharing that salvation with others? Change me to be more like You.

What is the truth from the bible for me about singles?

7/26/10What is the truth from the bible for me about singles? But God gives some the gift of marriage and others the gift of singleness. So to those that aren't married and widows - it's better to stay unmarried, just as I am. But if they can't control themselves, they should go ahead and marry. It's better to marry than burn with lust. 1Corinthians7:7-9. Thank You for this word because I would expect all to fit into the cookie cutter of everyone should be married or is waiting to be married; You tell me that's not true. You have for some their purpose is to be unmarried and for You to be the spouse they don't have. You have for some to be allowed to have a spouse while they accomplish their purpose. But for You to know me so well that You don't want me to have lust get in the way of my service to You tells me You know all my shortcomings and still love me. Help me to show Your love no matter where people are in their walk with You know matter what their shortcomings.

GAS LEAK FIXED AT HOME-THANKS FOR PRAYERS-What is the truth from the bible for me about widows?

GAS LEAK FIXED AT HOME-THANKS FOR PRAYERS-What is the truth from the bible for me about widows? He protects the immigrants, and cares for the orphans and widows. But He turns topsy-turvy the plans of the wicked. Psalms146:9. Lord I am stranger and an alien in this world in which I temporarily live. Protect me from the world that wants to rob me of my focus on You. Those you have purposed to come to America from different lands establish their way. Protect the missionary teams going out as short and long term immigrants to foreign lands to spread Your gospel. I was an orphan before You adopted me as Your child. Remind me that every unsaved person is an orphan in need of choosing You as their Father. For each widow I encounter remind me how blessed I am to have my Jimmy and help me to give them Your love and care when I don't know what to say. We weren't meant to be alone, help them find strength in the loved ones around them. You in me reaching others destroys the wicked's plans.

DAY 2 GAS SHUT OFF AT OUR HOUSE - PLEASE PRAY JIMMY CAN FIND LEAK TODAY - PLUMBER WILL COST OVER $500 TO START - What is the truth from the bible for me about wives?

DAY 2 GAS SHUT OFF AT OUR HOUSE - PLEASE PRAY JIMMY CAN FIND LEAK TODAY - PLUMBER WILL COST OVER $500 TO START - What is the truth from the bible for me about wives? Wives fit in with your husband's plans; for then if they refuse to listen when you talk to them about the Lord, they will be won by your respectful pure behavior. Your godly lives will speak to them better than any words. Don't be concerned about the outward beauty that depends on jewelry, or beautiful clothes, or hair arrangement. Be beautiful inside, in your hearts, with the lasting charm of a gentle and quiet spirit which is so precious to God. 1Peter3:1-3. Lord I want more than anything in my marriage not to be a nag. Yet anytime You are a topic of conversation I lose my respective pure behavior and feel I need to "tell" him. Forgive me Lord. One of the reasons I started this time with You sent to all was so my Jimmy would know my heart but not feel like I was forcing it on him. Thank You Lord for all the beautiful things Jimmy has blessed me with clothes, jewelry and hair care. Help me to bless You and him with a godly life that fits in with his plans while having a gentle quiet spirit that I can only grow through this one on one time with You.

What is the truth for me from the bible about my family?

7/20/10 - What is the truth for me from the bible about my family? Teach a child to choose the right path, and when he is older he will remain upon it. Proverbs22:6. Lord You tell me to teach my children. I can't make them listen, I can't make them learn. Spark their curiosity, open conversations, help me always be ready with an answer for the reason for my hope. The right path I try to help them choose is not always fun in the world's eyes but it is so truly blessed in Yours. As they all get older I pray they get to the place of brokenness to see the reason the path is right is because it leads to You my source of peace, hope, love and not away from You where there is chaos, fear, and hate. Help me influence my family for You every day of my life.

What does the Bible teach me about divorce?

7/19/10 What does the Bible teach me about divorce? Some Pharisees came to interview Him to try and trap Him in His words. "Do You permit divorce?" they asked. " It is written, a man should leave his mother and father and be united to his wife and the two become one. And no man can divorce what God has joined together." " Why did Moses say a man may divorce a wife with a letter of dismissal?" they asked. Jesus replied," Moses did this because of your hard and evil hearts, it was not what God had originally intended. Anyone who divorces his wife, except for fornication, and marries another, commits adultery." Matthew 19:3-9. Lord forgive me when I try to use Your word to justify my own way. Forgive my hard and evil heart. Guard my marriage that is being attacked on all sides, at all times. You joined us together, You intended us for each other, through You all is possible.

What is the truth from the bible for me about marriage?

7/16/10What is the truth from the bible for me about marriage? And the Lord God said, "It isn't good for the man to be alone; I will make a companion for him, a helper suitable to his needs." This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife in such a way that the two become one person. Genesis 2:18, 24. Lord You are always with me but thank you that You see and understand my need for companionship. Thank You for my Jimmy, a helper suitable to my needs and that I can be suitable to his. I pray for the future companions of my kids. I pray they love You, love my kids, and will be lifelong companions to them whoever they are and wherever they may be. I pray that the trials in our lives will only make our marriage stronger as we cling to each other as we trust in You.

THANK YOU FOR PRAYING -THE SERVICE I SPOKE AT LAST NIGHT WAS A BLESSING TO ME AND THOSE THERE - 7/15/10 What is the truth from the bible for me about unsaved loved ones?

THANK YOU FOR PRAYING -THE SERVICE I SPOKE AT LAST NIGHT WAS A BLESSING TO ME AND THOSE THERE - 7/15/10 What is the truth from the bible for me about unsaved loved ones? Give your burdens to the Lord. He will carry them. He will not permit the godly to slip or fall. Psalms55:22. Lord I give You the burden I have on my heart for those souls in my life that don't know You, that are choosing eternal death instead of the eternal life You offer. My worry for them won't save them. Give me opportunity to choose to love them, share with them, live You for them. Carry me Lord today. I am Yours and I am weak but You are strong. Don't allow me to slip into bitterness. Don't allow me to fall into anger. Raise me up on eagles wings that I can bless the unsaved loved ones in my life today.

Choice - 7/14/10

Thank you Cindy for choosing to ask me to speak tonight

Thank you to those choosing to be here for the service

I thank the Lord for those God put here in the park unknowingly to them by divine appointment.

Let's pray.

My choice for a life scripture is Deuteronomy 6:5

Love is a choice

My mother chose to love me and have me at the age of 16.

My father chose to stand up and be a dad at the age of 18 and they have been married the last 38 years.

My kids can't understand that you choose to love someone because the world has shown them that the uncontrollable emotion of lust is love.

When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners.

Romans 5:6

For God so loved the world that He gave His beloved Son that everyone who believes will not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

I chose Christ while I was still a sinner, utterly helpless one month pregnant in February 1991.

I chose Him to no longer be an acquaintance but I believed He loved me, gave His Son for me, and that in Him I could have eternal life.

I chose to love my then boyfriend, who God changed His heart in three months and we were married in and have been for 19years.

**Side note**this was not God's perfect plan and we and my parents suffered consequences for our actions but God loved us and saw us through, God's perfect plan is to abstain and wait for marriage, not that your marriage will be perfect but that you will have started in accordance to God's will.**

The word is God's love story to us:

God loved Adam created Eve they failed, suffered consequences , but God clothed them and still chose to love them.

God loved Noah spared his family the world suffered consequences for sin but God still chose to never flood the world again

God loved Abraham even though he lied to Pharaoh that Sarah was his sister not wife and still chose to make Him the father of nations

God loved Isaac even though he favored his elder un-anointed son Esau but God still chose to bless him with long life.

God loved Jacob even though he wrestled with God and was given a limp, God still chose to bless him with great wealth.

God loved Jacob's boys even though they sold their brother Joseph into slavery, God still chose to make them the twelve tribes of Israel.

God loved Joseph even though he meant to bring his family to Egypt in famine to provide for them they eventually became slaves, God chose to part the Red Sea to save them from captivity.

God loved the Israelites even though they complained in the desert wandering for 40years, God chose to still bring them to the Promise Land.

God loved David, king of Israel, even though he had Uriah killed to take his wife, God chose to forgive and still call him a man after God's heart.

God loved David's son Solomon even though he took 1000s of wives and concubines, God chose to bless him when he asked for wisdom.

God loved Israel even though they ignored his prophets, God chose to continue his plan of salvation by sending His Son.

God loved His Son even though He chose followers we would think shouldn't have measured up: doubting Thomas, the sons of thunder James and John, Peter who denied knowing Him three times, and Paul was a terrorist against Christians.

God loved women throughout the bible too that fell short according to our standards.

God loved Eve even though she offered Adam the fruit and listened to the snake, God still chose to have his Son come through a woman to one day crush the snakes head.

God loved Rebekah even though she helped Jacob lie to deceive Isaac, God still chose to allow Jacob's blessing.

God loved Bathsheba even though she had adultery with David, God still chose to allow her to be honored by Solomon and outlive David.

God chose to love Sarah even though she laughed when she overheard she would be pregnant at 90, God still chose to love her and allow her to bear Isaac.

God chose to love Rahab even though she was a harlot she hid the spies for God, God chose to spare her when all Jericho perished.

God chose to love Ruth even though she was from Moab not the chosen of Israel for her care she showed her mother in law, God chose to count her in the lineage of Jesus.

The list goes on and on to today.

We have all sinned,

None of us deserve, none of us can buy or none of us can earn God's gracious gift of eternal love

He chooses to love us and all that He asks is that we choose to love Him.

If you love the Lord as your God you have a relationship with Him.

You talk with him in your quiet times, in hard times, in desperate times, in times of plenty, in times of little.

He talks to You while you are reading His word, to you when you go to church, when you surround yourself with Christian believers who back you and hold you up.

The Lord is not your God if you only meet Him an hour on Sunday or even here, if you catch an occasional worship song in the car, if you drop the check in the basket to cross off your list.

He is your God when you are faced with a choice.

The choice of church or sleeping in, the choice of secular music or worship music, the choice of the check to tithe or the check for other wants.

Are you choosing God over friends that you shouldn't have, family that hinders your walk, jobs that consume the time you have with loved ones in your life?

Are you choosing to make the Lord your God or

are you content having Him as a casual acquaintance?

Is he the excuse for your choice "I am a child of God "

Or are you making excuses not to choose Him " I can go next week, I can give next time, I can this one time"

Where is your heart?

What do you have that you hold so dear that if it were taken or destroyed you would physically, mentally, spiritually never be the same again?

I challenge you to search your heart for any such person, place or thing in your life that you hold that dear because that is where God is going to break you.

You chose him as your God, remember?

You can only have one God, He won't share your heart with anyone or anything. Exodus 34

So can we love?

we have the choice to love the Lord with all our heart

we have the choice to love all else with an open hand to enjoy while we have it

We have the choice to know that when we don't it's due to our loving God's hand choosing to bring us closer to Himself.

There is a story of the Bell Sheep

The shepherd watched his flock of sheep in the fields

The shepherd had one sheep that would always wander off.

The shepherd would leave his flock to find this one.

The shepherd tied a bell to the sheep to help in finding him

The shepherd searched and searched one day and heard him in the bottom of a ditch

The shepherd climbed down and brought him back to solid ground.

But it was time for change the shepherd had a choice to make.

The shepherd bent down and broke the sheep's leg.

The sheep scrambled in fear and pain.

The sheep failed to notice the shepherd bandaging his leg.

The sheep cried as it was lifted to the shepherd's shoulders.

The sheep wanted for nothing in its weeks of healing as the shepherd cared for him.

The sheep healed and one day it came for him to stand

But it was time for change the sheep had a choice to make.

The sheep followed the shepherd because in his brokenness he knew the love of the Shepherd

My brother until recently had my heart.

I had made a promise, before I was saved when I was 14 and he was 4, that I would always do all I could to love and care for him no matter what.

My husband helped me support that promise and God allowed it.

My kids grew up with him like an older brother and God allowed it .

In an instant God reached down and broke that relationship.

I was physically depressed.

I was mentally distraught.

I was spiritually drained.

I chose God as he bandaged my heart by sharing my one on one time with others.

I cried but I found that as I poured out to others the healing God was giving me was reaching others also.

What started as less than 10 texts to family and friends has grown to

47 daily text messages

33 daily emails

145 daily Facebook hits on friends walls

1111 daily Facebook hits on a Prayer wall that's connected me with believers all over the world and in other languages.

This study has brought me to the day of healing that I can stand and say I am closer than I have ever been to God because I chose him after he broke me to show how much he truly loves me.

What's your soul?

You can't see it, hear it, feel it, taste it, touch it, buy it at Wal-Mart, on

Every person you see represents a soul

Each soul is eternal and will live eternally somewhere

If you are still here you have not accomplished God's purpose for your life

If you are not here you have accomplished God's purpose for your life.

She was a young mom, she suffered so long, he was taken so suddenly, he was so young, the baby was unborn. What about tsunamis, hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, terrorists, famine, disease?

Millions are not here due to these situations how does it accomplish God's purpose for a loving God to allow such atrocities?

Every person not here had an impact on someone's life to make a choice for their soul to remember how short life here is and how eternal life after here will be

How can you love the Lord your God with all your soul?

Admit - Jesus is the Christ the Son of God

Believe - Jesus lived, died and rose again to save you from your sin

Confess - you are sinner saved by grace you choose Him as your Savior.

This is the soul that lives eternally in the presence of God.

How can you reject the Lord your God with all your soul?

Deny Jesus is the Christ the Son of God, deny that He can save you, deny that you are a sinner, deny that you need to be saved

This is a soul that dies eternally out of the presence of God.

The choice for your soul is yours.

We are not all at the same place in our walks with the Lord

Some have just came to the Lord, some have walked a long time, some may have fallen away, some struggle with each step.

I choose to use my strength to flood my world with the word

Scripture is anywhere I spend more than a minute

Where do you spend your minutes?

Could you choose to spend the strength to send a text of encouragement, make a call of care, write a letter of love, send a message of more than gossip but gospel truth on Facebook or my space, fill an email with your faith in God impacting your life instead of filling it with forwards.

You personally sharing your strength in love filled with the word of God will not come back void. Isaiah 55:11

Hand out Who I am

Sharon challenged us to spend a week claiming who we were in Christ and it changed my life.

As we close, with the music playing, can we stand, if you fill led raise your hands, claim who you are in Christ. If as we read you realize you need to become choose Christ you can step over to the tent to be prayed for don't leave here without choosing to live eternally in Christ.
