7/2/10 – What does the bible have to say to me about Satan? Put on the armor of God to stand firm against the devil. We are not fighting flesh and blood enemies but evil spirits in heavenly places. Put on the armor to be able to resist and still be standing when it is over. Stand your ground, put on the belt of truth and body armor of God's righteousness. Put on the shoes of peace to be prepared to share the Gospel. Put on the shield of faith to stop fire darts of devil. Put on helmet of salvation; take up sword of Spirit, which is the word of God.Ephesians6:11-17. Lord in You we don't fight the devil, we are able to stand against Him. Those that physically come against me are nothing compared to the evil spirits I can allow into my heart and mind without You. Help me Lord to resist the desire to sin and stand firm in You because You never fail me. I will be true to who and what I am in You. With Your peace that surpasses understanding, prepare me to share Your love through the Gospel. I have faith You can work all for good. I want my first thoughts to be that I am saved by grace through faith and You desire this person to be saved by Your grace shown by my faith. Your word is my only defense and need.
