You truly have a sense of humor Lord, that You allow me to make plans and then You direct my steps. I know You will strengthen me when I am weak and doubt. You are my solid ground when the world falls apart around me. I am so blessed when I pause a moment and realize that the God of the universe is in me, I belong to You. You open doors to me that I would never expect everyday, help me to use each moment to spread Your word, not my own. Thank You Lord that I am Your child and I need only ask for forgiveness when I fail You to be restore again the harmony in my relationship with You. 4-26-10 How is the bible your strength? God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. Psalm46:1 Lord You are my refuge against my failures that overwhelm me, others failures that disappoint me, and the daily attacks to give up that pick at me. Lord You are my strength to try, try again, to forgive seventy times seven times, to persevere toward the prize of the upward call of heaven in Christ Jesus. No matter the time, place, or reason You ALWAYS want to help me; I need only ask. I am never alone , Your word is the only constant I have had throughout my life. 4-23-10 How is the bible your stability? He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. Psalm40:2 My life without You and against You was a pit of despair, I was drowning in my un-forgiven sins against myself, others and ultimately You. Now I can stand on the solid ground of who I am in You as a new creation, holy and dearly loved, rescued from the domain of Stan's rule and transferred to the kingdom of Christ. 4-22-10 How is the bible the guide for your life? How can a young person stay pure? By obeying Your word. Psalm119:9 Lord You don't see me in years but in maturity in my walk with You, because you see my heart. Lord You see where I am right now in my walk with you and where I will be. Lord I love You more and more each day as I am in your word, in fellowship, in prayer. I desire to obey You because I don't have to follow You to be loved but I am loved by You so I want to follow You. I am not trying to become Your child; I am Your child becoming like You day by day by obeying and trusting in Your word. Thank You Lord that when I fail, I don't lose my relationship with You but as I fall out of harmony, peace between us comes when I repent. * I am glad I can fill my need in my spirit with Christ which fills my want for heaven.
* I am glad I can choose to mourn my self-centeredness, repenting of who I was apart from from Christ and comforted by the gladness of who I now am in Christ.
* I am glad I can surrender my control to God; to meekly be complete only in Him.
* I am glad I have You to yearn for as my daily bread and the air I breathe, for in You I have all that I need.
* I am glad to forgive for I am reminded I can never forgive more than You have forgiven me.
* I am glad when I change my outlook, live right and love God; for my heart's treasure is what I look to, live and love YOU.
* I am glad when I look to show mercy, live for what's right and live to give love then others can see God in me.
* I am glad I can stand for God no matter what and be certain this world is not my home.

4-20-10 How is the Bible your infallible authority? The Lord merely spoke and the heavens were created. He breathed the word and all the stars were born. Psalm33:6 Lord You spoke the heavens into creation with the same still small voice You speak courage, hope and peace into my heart today. With the words You breathed to create the multitude of stars, You created the breath of life within each of my children, within my beloved, within me. You word to me isn't just words on a page, but it's life within my heart and without it as a stranger and alien here on earth, I fail. 4-19-10 How is Jesus your everything? So don't boast about following a particular human leader. For everything belongs to You. The world or life or death or the present or the future. Everything belongs to You, and you belong to Christ and Christ belongs to God. 1Cor3:21-23 Lord forgive me when I honor the person over the the power they have within them from You. Even though some leaders are far from You they are only there through Your and perfect plan and will. Everything I can see, smell, feel, taste, and touch is Yours. Our only power and success comes from God. 2Corinthians3:5 Lord I can't do anything meaningful without You. Yet the simple sharing of my heart with You and then others has value because of You. You are all I need today, when I fail today, speak Your peace into my heart to calm my life; when I succeed today let me stop and give glory to You. I love You. Lord You are the power I need to love. Remind me when others try to make me feel unworthy that success is not in how much I have here on earth but on how many I have an impact on to be saved for heaven. He has put His brand upon us-His mark of ownership and given us the Holy Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee that we belong to Him and as the first installment of all that He is going to give us. 2Corinthians1:22 Lord thank You that I am Yours. 4-13-10 How is Jesus your guardian? When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. Isaiah43:2 Lord You do not say "if" I go through hard times but "when", thank you for preparing me. Lord I am going through deep waters now and I know that You are with me. It is so difficult, more difficult than anything I have ever done in my life, yet I am closer to You now than I have ever been. Daily trials do make me feel like I am drowning, but those waves do pass. 4-12-10 How is Jesus your brother? But to all who received Him He gave the right to become children of God. All they needed to do was trust Him to save them. John1:12 Lord I receive You and I have the right to be a child God. Thank You. I trust You to save me because I have tried to save me and failed miserably. Give me opportunity to share Your love and give others the chance to receive You, but remind me it's their choice. Help me remember how hard it was in my own blindness and stubbornness to see my need for You to save me, yet once I did choose to trust You it the most easiest decision I've made. How is Jesus your companion? There are "friends" that destroy each other, but there is a real friend that sticks closer than a brother. Proverbs18:24 Lord there are those I thought were my friends that used me, deceived me, and led me far away from You. Forgive me Lord for also failing my friends by not being there for them, not making them a priority, not sharing Your love with them. You are the only perfect friend I have that won't desert me, that will always listen to me, and that will speak the truth in love to me to make me more like You. Thank you for being my constant friend, and even though I am not perfect, help me strive to be a friend like You to all those You have blessed my life with. 4-8-10 How is Jesus your example? For God called you to do good, even if it means suffering as Christ suffered for you. He is your example, and you must follow in His steps. 1Peter2:21 I have a plan and a purpose, You have called me; I am chosen holy and dearly loved. My whole reason for being is to do good today. So when the suffering comes I am not surprised, because I am a child of God and Christ, the Son of God, suffered. So my heart's desire is to follow in Christ's steps, no matter what, I am not alone. God, You foreknew and predestined my steps, You are never surprised by what happens in my life. Christ, You prepare a hope for me in heaven that no one here can take away and is waiting for me when my job here is done. Holy Spirit, You live within me, I am Your temple and dwelling place and I choose to serve the Lord, give me the strength to follow in Christ's steps today. 4-7-10 How is Jesus your fellowship? Jesus replied," All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come make our home with each of them." John14:23 Lord as You speak to me allow me to hear what You are telling me and not point fingers at others failures only my own because You are MY fellowship. I do love You but I fail daily to do what You say I should with my time, with my tithe, with my talent.Forgive me and as I receive Your mercy help me also show mercy to those who fail me because You have forgiven me so much so I can show Your forgiveness to others. I am assured of Your love because I know that I know that I am a child of God, Your dwelling place is within me and my purpose is to give You glory not to justify myself, my actions, my way. 4-6-10 How is Jesus your deliverer? You will know the truth and the truth will set you free. So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free. John8:32,36 Lord thank you for your word that speaks to my heart and teaches me your truth. The more I accept your truth, believe your truth, and confess your truth to others the more free I am from the grip of guilt from my failures, fear of the unknown, and despair over moments lost that I choose to allow to enslave me. You set me free. You rose from the dead. I am only free in You. Show me when I allow sin to enslave me. Give me opportunity to share your truth with others, to give them the opportunity for freedom and life You have given me to share. chastity head :)

4-5-10 How are You my righteousness? For God took the sinless Christ and poured into Him our sins. Then, in exchange, He poured God's goodness into us. 2Cor5:21 You are my righteousness because You are sinless and I am sinful. My sins were poured into You before I was even saved, while I was a sinner. At the moment I was saved You poured Your goodness into me so because of Your Son I am righteous and holy. You are my righteousness because I accepted, believed, and confessed You as my Savior; You accepted me as a sinner, believed I had a plan and purpose, and confessed Your love for me by being born, dying and rising again for my hope of eternal life. 4-2-10 How is Jesus your forgiveness? My little children I am only telling you this that you will stay away from sin. But if you sin, there is someone to plead for you before the Father. His name is Jesus Christ, the one who is all good and pleases God completely. 1John 2:1 Lord thank You for Your word that warns me to stay away from sin, to try to live pleasing to You, that I can keep a close relationship with You. But the truth is I fail daily and to know beyond a shadow of doubt that I am your child saved by grace and even though You died on the cross for my sin, You rose again to give me hope of heaven and to today stand before God on my behalf and because Jesus pleases You, You are pleased with me.
