3-31-10 How is Jesus your love? Dear friends let us practice loving each other, for love comes from God and those that are loving and kind show they are children of God and that they are getting to know Him better. But if a person isn't loving and kind it shows he doesn't know God - for God is love. God showed how much He loved us by sending His Son into this wicked world to bring us eternal life through His death. In this act we see what real love is: it is not our love for God but His love for us when He sent His Son to satisfy His anger against our sins. Dear friends, since God loved us as much as that surely we ought to love each other too. For though we have never seen God, when we love each other God lives in us and His love within us grows ever stronger. 1John4:7-12 Lord thank You for Your love I don't deserve,help me to share Your love within me with those that I feel don't deserve it either.

3-30-10 How is Jesus your Lord? Why do you call Me 'Lord' when you won't obey Me? Luke6:46 Lord You are my Lord. Forgive me when I fail to live that, when I say You are My Lord but don't live like You are my Lord; then who really is my Lord? Myself, my things, my life, my family, the others in my life. These are the things You have to peel away to get to my heart when I don't freely give it to You. I purpose in my heart to do and call You my Lord. I pray You, by any means necessary, become Lord in word and deed in my kids lives.

3-29-10 How is Jesus my Savior? then he saved us - not because we were good enough to be saved - but because of His kindness and pity- by washing away our sins and giving us the jot of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit Titus 3:5-6 You saved me even there is no good in me. You showed me kindness when I deserved hatred. You showed me pity when i deserved to be shamed. You are the only One that can wash away my sins. There is nothing in religion, nothing in others, nothing in me that can save me, only You. The new joy i once had is unlike any joy i once had because it never leaves, fades, or fails. This joy is Your Holy Spirit within me and it is not dependent on what I think,say or do. Will God forgive me for the things I have done wrong? Why would He even want to?

3-25-10 Will God forgive me for the things I have done wrong? Why would He even want to? He has not punished us as we deserve for all our sins, for His mercy toward those who fear and honor Him are as the height of the heavens above the earth. He has removed our sin as far as the east is from the west. Psalm 103:10-12 Lord thank for not punishing as I deserve because I couldn't stand it, forgive me when I feel others should be punished as I feel they deserve. You forgive me because I want Your forgiveness because Your love is beyond what I can see in the heavens. As far as the east from the west, as far as from the creation to the revelation you remove our sins from us if we ask because You love us that much. When the Lord had given success to the people of Israel against their enemies and when Joshua was very old, he called all the leaders together and said," I am an old man and you have seen all the Lord God has done for you in my lifetime He has fought for you against your enemies and has given you land. Joshua 23:1-3 Lord You give me success daily because I don't walk this life alone. You have protected me from, had me witness to, and allowed me to triumph over my enemies. Lord as I get older each day help me to use every opportunity to share Your greatness with tomorrow's leaders. 3-18-10 What does it mean to fear God? Blessings on all who reverence and trust the Lord- on all who obey Him! Psalm 128:1 Lord I desire Your blessings on my life. I reverence You as the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. I trust You to be the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Yet Lord I fail to obey You daily. Yet I can come to You broken and You love me, forgive me, and forget my sin as far as the east from the west. Forgive me Lord when I fail to forgive others when they fail me. When I love them, forgive them, I fail by digging up their sin time and again. You allow us to remember others sin, remind me also just as much of my own and how much I have been forgiven. 3-17-10 HAPPY ST PATRICK'S DAY :)Day 7 of 7 Who am I? Lord I think I have a better understanding of why You took 6 days to create and the 7th to rest. These last six days have changed my heart. Now when I am tempted to sin, when I fail and sin, when I need forgiveness from sin, when others fail me and sin, and when I need to forgive others of their sin I am reminded of who I am and how I need to react as a child of God. Lord thank You that now on this 7th day I can rest secure in who I am, who You are, and who i need to be and become each day.

3-10-10 How is God faithful to me? The Lord has set apart the redeemed for Himself. Therefore He will listen to and answer when I call to Him. Psalm 4:3 Thank You Lord that I am Your child. How does my faith in God effect how I live?

3-9-10 How does my faith in God effect how I live? I say that anyone who listens to my message and believes in God who sent me has eternal life and will never be damned for his sins, but has already passed from death into life. John 5:24 Lord I thank you for these few quiet moments that I can listen to you. I believe in You as My Creator, My Savior, My I AM, my Father God and I am Your child. I believe Christ was born divinely, lived sinlessly, died selflessly, and rose victoriously for me and all who believe. I believe this life is temporary and your with You is eternal. Thank you that I am forgiven for the sins that I and others always seem to remember but You have forgotten. My faith effects my life because I am not alone but You are always with me. I am not without purpose but you have begun a good work in me that You will be faithful to complete. I am certain this world is not my home because You are preparing a place for those that love you. 3-8-10 How can God bring anything good from my failure? The steps of good men are directed by the Lord. He delights in each step they take. If they fail it isn't fatal, for the Lord holds them with His right hand. Psalm 37:23-24 Lord thank you that you order my steps even though You allow me to choose my path. Thank you for the breath I have this morning to start anew. I desire Your direction and I want to please You. Lord thank you that my failures don't make You discard me like people do. Thank you that you can use me despite my flaws. Lord I hold your hand because I can't do it on my own. Forgive and restore me. Remind me to try and have the same love to others You have for me. Help me delight in the good of others. Remind me to uphold others when they fail. You can bring good from my failure because You love me even though I am not perfect but in spite of my imperfections and use them for good.

How can I truly experience God?

3-5-10 How can I truly experience God? And how can we be sure we belong to God? By looking within ourselves: are we really trying to do what He wants us to? Someone may say, " I am a Christian, I am on my way to heaven; I belong to Christ." But if he doesn't do what Christ tells him to, he is a liar. But those that do what Christ tells them to will learn to love Him more and more. That is the way to know you are a Christian. Anyone who says He is a Christian should live as Christ did. 1 John 2: 3-6 Lord I am really trying to do what You want me to do. I am not perfect, I fail daily. But my heart's desire is to experience You. I am a child of God. I choose You. I want to do what You tell me to. I learn to love You more and more through Your word, through others that love You, and through these one on one times with You. 3-4-10 Why does God try and encourage me to be excellent? Are you called to preach? Then preach as though God Himself were speaking through you. Are you called to help others? Do it with all the strength and energy God supplies, so that God will be glorified through Jesus Christ- to Him be the glory and power both now and forever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 4:11 Lord speak through me. Help me see and use every opportunity You give me to give you glory. Show me where You would have me to serve not in my own feeble strength and limited energy that fizzles out, but in Your superior strength and excellent energy that keeps going and going. 3-2-10 How can my enemies defeat me? Dear friend, don't let this bad example influence you. Follow only what is good. Remember that those that do what is right are God's children; and those that continue in evil are far from God. 3 John1:11 Lord forgive me when I fail You and follow the bad examples in my life. Lord search my heart for the evil I allow in that trips me up. Forgive me. I desire to draw near to You, not for evil to lead me far away. Show me how to be an example of good to those far from You. How can I have the endurance to continue when I am tempted to give up?

3-1-10 And I am sure that God who began the good work in you will keep right on helping you grow in His grace until His task within you is finally finished on that day when Jesus Christ returns. Philippians 1:6 Lord You began a good work within me before I even knew You. I can't get through this day without Your help. I can't endure the daily trials without hope in You. When I fail You, myself, and others I am tempted to give up but You show me such unmerited grace. I want to be faithful to finish the task You have given me here.
